How to find ghosts
Ghosts can be very easy to find. There’s usually at least one in every very old cemetery. Very old houses
can be haunted, too.
Websites such as HollowHill.com and Shadowlands list ghosts in the US and other countries.
At Halloween, your town newspaper probably described local haunted places. Look through old issues of the newspaper. (You may find them online or at your public library.)
Ask your local historical society. Be sure to ask about ‘ghost stories’ rather than real ghosts. A lot of people don’t like to admit that they believe in ghosts.
Ghost stories aren’t always true but parts of them might be. Investigate the most interesting ones.
Visit your public library. Reference librarians usually know local folklore, or they can tell you who knows ghost stories.
